Students will learn intermediate sewing skills including hemming a pair of denim jeans, blind hem technique, buttonhole, basic zipper installation, gathering stitches for ruffles, and using decorative stitches (if available on their machine.) Students will leave class with the knowledge of how to hem garments, add buttonholes and zippers to their projects, and become familiar with additional sewing techniques. Basic sewing techniques and sewing machine knowledge is required.
